Organic Plain Nuts & Seeds

Organic nuts and seeds from Just Natural, 2DiE4 Activated and Clearspring.

Almonds whole, blanched, flaked and ground; cashews, pecans, brazils, hazelnuts, macadamias, pistachios and pine nuts. Seeds: chia, hemp, brown and golden linseed, milled flaxseed, pumpkin, sesame and nigella.

Sold plain and unroasted, which matters for cooking. Roasted nuts carry a different flavour and won't behave the same in baking or in a homemade nut milk — raw is what most recipes assume unless they say otherwise.

Activated nuts are soaked and then slow-dried at low temperature rather than roasted. Ground almonds and almond flour are the same thing; blanched means the skins are removed, which is why blanched almonds are pale.
