Eco washing powder and liquid from Ecover, Bio-D and Ecozone. Choose from bio and non-bio formulations across powders, liquids, capsules and bulk refill sizes. Biological formulas use natural enzymes to break down protein, starch and grease at lower temperatures. Non-biological options contain no enzymes, making them the preferred choice for sensitive skin, eczema and babies' clothes, though they perform best in a slightly warmer wash. All our eco detergents leave out optical brighteners – fluorescent dyes that coat fabrics to create the illusion of whiter whites without adding cleaning power. Skipping these additives means eco-washed whites stay genuinely clean without chemical residue.
