White Wine
Organic and alcohol free white wine.
The organic side spans Sicily, Spain and New Zealand — Cataratto, Pinot Grigio, Grillo Viognier, Verdejo, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris. The alcohol free end covers 0% Sauvignon Blanc and sparkling, plus organic Cava.
Organic wine means the grapes are grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers, and sulphite limits are lower than for conventional wine. Not zero — fermentation produces sulphites naturally, so no wine is entirely sulphite free unless it says so explicitly.
Alcohol free wine is made as wine and then de-alcoholised, usually by vacuum distillation or spinning cone, which is why it tastes closer to wine than grape juice does.
